Archive of the Museum of Electropathology

In 1898, the Viennese physician Stefan Jellinek (1871-1968) started collecting and documenting reports on lightning strikes, electrical accidents and objects that had been destroyed or transformed by electricity. This collection was supplemented by a 'War Collection' of paintings and sketches recording electrical and lightning accidents in theatres of World War I.
