The media.matrix is chronologically organized in 13 epochal sections ("Antiquity", "Medieval Ages", Renaissance" aso.) and 10 thematic sections (eg "Sound", "Images", "Lists" aso.). The chessboard-like matrix-structure offers the possibility to cross-read the texts by subjects, as well as the chance to go through the texts following the chronological time line.
